Founded in 2006; OctoSoft operates in a diversity of fields covering almost all aspects of ICT, industrial automation
and electronic control.
OctoSoft was designed from day one to be an international franchise. With this target in sight; OctoSoft took upon its self the task of utilizing cutting edge approaches and techniques in all aspects of the business. OctoSoft has always been keen on establishing partnerships with leading technology providers throughout the world; OctoSoft has established partnerships with Microsoft, Oracle, Decarta , Inter, Cisco, Wave-trend along with tens of smaller local and international companies in an ongoing quest for providing our clients best of breed solutions.
OctoSoft is a highly specialized service oriented enterprise; to achieve the outmost specialization OctoSoft has divided the business into eight loosely coupled subsidiaries each specialized in providing a certain service. Each and every one of those subsidiaries is a self sufficient entity that is capable of running its day to day operations. All of those entities however are bound by OctoSoft’s strategies, policies, high quality standards and strict quality control disciplines.

Our Subsidiaries
01.
Business Nitrous
is OctoSoft’s subsidiary resposible for providing E-Business solutions/services. Business Nitrous provides E-marketing, E-commerce and automated advertising solutions whether they are desktop solutions, web solutions or solutions for handheld devices. Business Nitrous utilizes the services of a number of consultants in the E-Business and business development fields to enable its self to provides solutions in a complete cycle starting for problem definition and ending with a complete and integrated solution of best parctices and the software/hardware that would back it.

Roller Coaster
is OctoSoft’s subsidiary responsible for supporting and incubating innovative ideas. Roller Coaster provides technical support and business know how training for teams or persons with innovative ideas to help them reach a marketable end-product. Currently Roller Coaster supports a single graduation project per year in faculties of Engineering and Computer Science Cairo and Ain Shams universities. Future plans include the increase in the number of projects allowed in the support program, covering all universities and technology institutes in Egypt and holding competitions to allow innovators who are not currently enlisted in an official academic program to enter the Roller Coaster incubation program.

Catalyst
is OctoSoft’s subsidiary responsible for providing training solutions. Catalyst utilizes best of bread training practices and techniques and only the very best trainers so that it provides the highest training quality. Currently Catalyst provides training on OctoSoft products as well as third party technologies and manages a growing number of training centers under its franchise program (hereafter referred to as “Catalyst franchisees”). Catalyst franchisees undergo extensive training and routine auditing and assessment to ensure the quality of service. Catalyst franchisees clearly display the “Catalyst authorized training partner” logo at their campuses.

10 B
10 b or Technology ENabled Business, is OctoSoft’s subsidiary that utilizes cutting edge or experimental technologies to empower businesses increase ROI and decrease overheads. 10 b was the first to introduce an RFID based warehouse and supply chain management solution system in Egypt and was among the first to introduce a GPS based fleet management and tracking system. 10b provides consultancy and customization services OctoWorx products as well as third party products when applicable.
05.
Odex
stands for Optimize Develop and Engineer Anything, and is OctoSoft’s subsidiary that provides engineering, industrial automation, urban automation and various supervisory and control systems. ODEX develops the mentioned solutions under most platforms for computer based, or embedded control systems. ODEX designs and builds SCADA RTUs and PLC control and supervision panels when required. ODEX has developed a spectrum of embeded solutions over a variety of chips.

OctoWorx
is OctoSoft’s subsidiary developing business stream lining applications. OctoWorx is specialized in
building horizontal general purpose applications like OctoWare CRM, OctoWare HRM, OctoWare Accounting and so
forth. OctoWorx also develops vertical legacy applications for specialized businesses in cooperation with 10b.
07.
Octolabs
is OctoSoft’s R&D facility. OctoLabs develops new technologies and improves existing OctoSoft and third
party technologies; those new technologies are what give OctoSoft a competitive edge. OctoLabs does not release
products to the public at the moment, its products are patented and are exclusive to OctoSoft’s use.
08.
Octoworld
is OctoSoft’s subsidiary responsible for providing solutions for common use and are not specific to a
certain client, like social networking solutions, medical loggers and so forth.
